About Memorial Assistance Ministries (MAM)
MAM opened its doors in 1983. The mission of MAM is to assure that families have the means to meet their basic needs. With a philosophy of service of personalized support, believing that every client is capable, creative and whole, MAM offers programs enabling long-term financial self-sufficiency, assists families facing financial crisis to avoid homelessness, assures children an improved school experience, facilitates client ass to other support networks and provides value to its member congregations and the community.

Department Description
The Fund Development department at MAM has undergone significant growth over the past six years, nearly tripling the fundraising revenue to support ambitious program growth set forth in the Strategic Plan. While the expansion of the Resale Store and client programs called for increasing the number of volunteers carrying out a myriad of duties throughout the organization, MAM’s community visibility and valued reputation was enhanced by consistent branding, marketing and public relation efforts. MAM’s Fund Development staff members work in conjunction with the board of directors, congregational council and community volunteers to develop relationships that bring valued resources to MAM – today and in the future.
