On November 15, 2017, the 2017 Power Tools for Nonprofits Conference is being hosted by CenterPoint Energy and UH Downtown at NRG Center. The 24th Annual conference will offer 24 sessions where experts from various fields share their knowledge in fund development, best practices, human resources, management strategies, marketing/public relations, organizational effectiveness, leadership, professional/career development and more, including:

This session will help you translate your organization’s data into Actionable Intelligence. We will review data strategies to take your fundraising to the next level and ensure that you are leveraging everything — from engagement to program data — to enhance fundraising opportunities. Topics will include: data management, mining and basic analytics.
Kirsten C. Schachter, Dini Spheris senior consultant, will be speaking on Trends in Philanthropy. This session will look at recent giving trends and general best practices that are helping nonprofit organizations run more effectively and raise more money.
