2018 HAIS Summer Conference for Advancement

On June 7, 2018, Dini Spheris Principal, Angela Hodson and Senior Consultant, Nicole McWhorter, CFRE, will be speaking at the HAIS Summer Conference for Advancement, during the third session on “Major Gifts in any Environment”. During this session, attendees will learn the process and techniques to successfully connect with and engage major gift donors to bring them closer to your school and reap long-term philanthropic partners. This session is designed to strengthen the foundation of a major gift program and arm you with an actionable plan. Whether you are starting to build transformational partnerships or maximizing existing relationships, Angela and Nicole will share concrete strategies to capture the imagination of your prospects with a meaningful case for support and build the process.

The HAIS Summer Conference will be held at Fort Bend Christian Academy – South Campus in Sugar Land and is geared toward Houston area fundraisers that work in independent schools. Registration begins at 8:00 a.m. followed by the keynote speaker, Dr. Michael Winters. Dr. Winters keynote: “Riding Roller Coasters and Soothing Ruffled Feathers” will challenge fundraisers to rediscover the passion and purpose of their work and inspire fundraisers to find new ways to work with “difficult” donors, staff and parents.
