United Way of Greater Houston and Dini Spheris are pleased to announce the annual presentation of Giving USA 2021: The Annual Report on Philanthropic Giving. This year’s presentation will look back at one of the most unprecedented years since Giving USA has begun. A year that caused the world to pause, but did not put the brakes on philanthropy. It was a year marked by the COVID-19 pandemic, economic recession, social unrest and political tension. We will review how all of these events impacted philanthropy, drove change and created new opportunities. Together with our donor panel we will discuss the economic environment, donor fatigue and what lasting changes from 2020 will shape the philanthropy of the future.
