Biography
Regina is a dedicated and passionate professional with a strong background in nonprofit work, community outreach and program development. Known for exceptional communication skills and her drive to accomplish goals, Regina thrives in both collaborative team settings and independent roles that foster creativity.
Prior to Dini Spheris, Regina worked at Target Hunger, a Houston-based nonprofit combating food insecurity. Starting as the Volunteer Manager, she later transitioned to the Community Outreach Manager in the Programs department, where she gained extensive experience engaging with donors, board members and clients. This role provided firsthand knowledge of program evaluation, outreach and retention, ensuring that initiatives met the needs of the communities served. Regina began her work in the nonprofit sector at the Houston Zoo and gained experience that laid the foundation for her continued dedication to service and community impact.
With a Bachelor of Science in Public Health and a minor in human nutrition and food studies from the University of Houston, Regina brings both academic knowledge and hands-on experience to nonprofit program development and support.
Outside of work, she enjoys exploring Houston’s vibrant food scene with friends, indulging in podcasts and novels and unwinding at home with beloved pets.
