Biography
Lucy is an accomplished nonprofit professional with more than a decade of experience spanning executive administration, board management, fundraising, donor relations and stewardship. She has played an integral role in advancing major fundraising initiatives, delivering results that build long-term relationships grounded in trust and integrity.
Throughout her career, Lucy has supported a range of high-impact campaigns, including two consecutive emergency fundraising efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic while at Houston Ballet. Her work supported Board engagement, donor communications and stewardship strategies during a critical time for the performing arts sector.
Prior to joining Dini Spheris, Lucy served as a Regional Philanthropy Officer at the American Red Cross, where she managed a portfolio of 90 foundations across the Texas Gulf Coast. During a period marked by consecutive natural disasters, she deepened her expertise in foundation relations, aligning donor priorities with urgent community needs, and securing critical philanthropic support in times of crisis.
Lucy’s strengths include managing complex initiatives, exemplified by her role as Program Manager at the Bilateral Chamber of Commerce, where she oversaw international trade missions with C-suite executives.
Lucy holds a Master of Arts in political science from the University of Houston and a Bachelor of Arts in international business from Houston Christian University.
Born and raised in Cairo, Egypt, Lucy enjoys spending time with family and friends and has a passion for movies, performing arts and travel.
