Biography
Love for the arts first drew Zitlaly to nonprofits, where she quickly recognized fundraising as an essential part of helping organizations fulfill their missions. Zitlaly believes nonprofits are powerful forces for change, creating ripple effects that strengthen communities and support growth, diversity and transformation.
Zitlaly began her fundraising career at the Houston Center for Photography, where she managed all aspects of contributed revenue, including grant writing, annual giving and events. She later served as Annual Fund Manager at the Houston Symphony, overseeing annual fund initiatives, advancing donor prospecting strategies and expanding her project management experience.
At Dini Spheris, Zitlaly has supported a wide range of capital and major gifts projects across healthcare and arts organizations, school systems and universities. Her work also includes international experience with a university in Mexico, where she drew on her Spanish language skills.
With her experience, Zitlaly brings a thoughtful and strategic approach to every partnership. She is committed to helping clients achieve their philanthropic goals through clear communication, careful planning and strong relationships.
Zitlaly graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Arts in art history. She is an active member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals – Greater Houston Chapter.
