Dallas Holocaust Museum Breaks Ground on New Facility

On Tuesday, October 10, the Dallas Holocaust Museum/Center for Education and Tolerance held a groundbreaking ceremony for a new larger facility that will be located only a few minutes’ walk away from the current West End location.

The new 51,000 square foot facility is scheduled to open in 2019 and will be four times the size of the current facility which often reaches capacity. The new facility will not only address the Holocaust but genocides and human rights struggles throughout history. This new facility will also come with a new name: The Dallas Holocaust and Human Rights Museum.
