Six years ago, Kelly Dyer Fry, Reggie Whitten, Terri White and Dr. Murali Krishna, met to discuss what they could do to fight the opioid epidemic ravaging the state of Oklahoma and in some cases, their own families. On October 5, the four met again and broke ground on a new 40-bed addiction facility. Arcadia Trails is scheduled to open in spring 2019 and will neighbor INTEGRIS Edmond, off Interstate 35.
Fry stated, over the last six years, approximately $23 million has been raised from foundations and individual Oklahomans to build a “world-class” treatment facility so families won’t have to send their loved ones out of state for treatment.
